Deleting end user's consent and data

According to our End User Privacy Policy, when our partner (third party, e.g. credit institution or other service provider, which requires your account information via GoCardless Bank Account Data API) redirects you to GoCardless page, where you agree to Terms & Conditions, your account information is transferred to GoCardless partner on your initiative. In such cases, GoCardless partner becomes responsible for your data as a data controller immediately after the data transfer. GoCardless partner will be identified in the consent window, which will always be presented before you use the account information service.

However, as per the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the end user can

• Request to revoke their consent from their bank, GoCardless partner or GoCardless
• Request to delete their data from GoCardless partner or GoCardless

How can I as an end user revoke my consent?

You as an end user could log in to your internet bank’s profile, where you can see and revoke given consents online. Please note that some banks might not have such an option. If you can’t find the "Revoke consent" option in your bank or it’s not there, please reach out to a bank representative directly to resolve the matter.

You as an end user could reach out to GoCardless partner as a data controller and

• Request to revoke your consent by deleting a requisition & related end user agreement.
• Request to delete your account information data.

You as an end user could reach out to GoCardless and request to revoke your consent and/or delete your data. To do that, please send your request to [e-mail] and add the following information:

• Your full name and surname
• Your IBAN
• Your request (delete data / revoke consent / both)

Once the account's requisition has been deleted, the following error will be returned in case GoCardless partner will try to get your account's information:
