You can subscribe to updates regarding downtimes or major changes on our status page.
There are three main components:
- GoCardless Bank Account Data API - Issues or changes that affect the whole API.

GoCardless Bank Account Data Portal - Issues and changes that affect our portal.
- Financial Institutions Operational Status - Here we have all 31 countries where we operate plus Global which includes all international institutions like PayPal, Wise etc. Here we are posting issues and updates regarding specific institutions. So if a bank from Germany is experiencing an issue or has a planned maintenance, it will be posted in the Germany sub-component of this component.
The suggested setup to get the most relevant updates would be to subscribe to GoCardless Bank Account Data API, GoCardless Bank Account Data Portal and in Financial Institutions Operational Status subscribe to the countries where you operate, or that are relevant to you.
You can follow the steps below to make sure you only get the updates that are relevant to you.

(This step necessary only if you have already subscribed to all components before 24.02.2025)Go to any of our past incident notifications that you have received in your email and click "Unsubscribe".
- Go to https://status.accountdata.gocardless.com/ and click on "Subscribe to Updates" on the top right side of the screen.
- Chose "Subscribe to specific components"
- Then check "GoCardless Bank Account Data API", "GoCardless Bank Account Data Portal" and next to "Financial Institutions Operational Status" click on the arrow for "32 components" dropdown to select countries that are relevant to you.
- Hit "Subscribe" at the bottom of the window and thats it, you are set.
